About them Bernard Pierre DODELER was born in France in a traditional catholic family on May 13, 1945. He was studying law, when he received Christ as his personal Savior in Limauges (Belgium) in the night of April 10/11 1966. He was baptized on July 17 1966 and became active as a member in the Good News Baptist Church in France and responded to God's call to the ministry in February 1967. He enrolled at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna in the fall of 1967. He enrolled at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis in the fall of 1968. Following graduation in 1972, the Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Forest ordained Bernard, Illinois and commissioned to the field of France on August 25, 1972. Bernice Olive DODELER (KIDDER) was born on November 25, 1946 in Wisconsin in a large Bible-believing family, where she heard the Word of God right away. She trusted Christ as her Savior when she was still a young child. She became very faithful to and through her home church, the Calvary Baptist Church of Belvidere, Illinois. She graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna in May 1968 God was leading and preparing her for mission-work. When Bernard met Bernice at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, she was preparing to serve in a Spanish-speaking country of South America. Their ministry Church planting since the Fall of 1972. Churches have been established in Thionville and Metz (northeastern France), in Laon (northeast of Paris). The process in Vernon (Normandy) is coming to an end. We asked another missionary to handle the church of Mantes (Paris-area). Since the Fall of 2003, we help a missionary establish a church in Argentan (Normandy) Training nationals for the ministry through the IBBL (a seminary-level school) Regular Bible conferences held in France, in Germany, in Holland and in Hungary A few words from them: Through the church planting going on for the past thirty-four years, God has established sound Bible believing Baptist churches in French cities where no Gospel had been previously preached. Through the IBBL, national workers are being sent out into the fields of France and on the Mission-field. Through conferences, Christians and Christian workers are challenged to stand for the faith delivered unto the saints once for all. Through publications and a tape ministry, the impact of the Gospel will widen to other parts of the French speaking world and to the next generations, should the Lord tarry. A few hours will now be consecrated daily to giving a final touch to several much needed Commentaries in French, a French Greek grammar, and Biblical and Theological Studies in French. Our chief goal has always been to glorify our triune God and Savior through a faithful and humble service. Through their prayerful support, two scores of churches have had a decisive part in what God is doing in France since 1972 through our ministry.
